How to Install a Lockset

Insert the lock body into the mortice, ensuring the latch bolt extends and retracts smoothly. Secure the lock body to the door using the provided screws, making sure they are tight. Install the strike plate on the door frame, aligning it with the lock body. Mark the screw hole locations and pre-drill the holes. Attach the strike plate to the door frame using screws, ensuring a secure fit. Test the lock by closing and opening the door to ensure smooth operation.
